About Me

I am a private library curator with over five years’ experience in the industry. This year, I decided it was time for me to make new connections and find my own direction, both with my business practice and with my podcast.
‘A Room of Your Own’ takes what I have learned from my meetings with clients and my work on their collections and expands it to explore how we create and imagine our own ideal spaces, and how books relate to these aspirations.
Over the course of our conversation, my guests begin to envision an imaginary space free of constraints that would feel deeply personal and magical to them - and I encourage my listeners through this process to do the same. Based in London, I work primarily across the UK and the United States, but am not constrained by location when it comes to library projects.

A Room Of Your Own came from a realisation - that when I was helping clients to build their own dream libraries, they were weaving their memories with their aspirations and telling me a story about who they thought they were.
In A Room of Your Own, I’ll be inviting guests to explore the books and the spaces that they’ve loved. I’ll help them to construct their own dream library, and act as architect, designer and curator, inviting you to listen in on our rambling consultation on books, life and memories.

My primary work is as a library curator and specialist bookseller. Having built libraries for private clients across the world on a huge range of different subjects, I am always excited to take on new projects and to work with people to develop their own vision.
